ROOM-IN-ROOM IN THE SELF-STUDY CENTRE

IN THE CENTRE OF THE ACTION AND YET UNDISTURBED.

The unusual feature of this room is the large rondel, of which the outside functions as a library and offers individual workstations as well as shelving. Its interior is acoustically equipped and offers learners a sheltered retreat for reading and relaxing. Due to its size, the indoor area can also be used for presentations and discussions for entire learning groups.

All around are spaces for various forms of work, from individual and group work to web research.

The individual workstations have half-height COMBi acoustic partitions and allow concentrated, undisturbed work.

Communication islands with flexible seating elements and mobile book trolleys invite people to exchange ideas in small or large groups.

Despite the various options, the space remains manageable thanks to the clear and well-organised zoning.
